A Hard Money is an asset-based finance loans and bases loan approval on the value or potential for value of a property, making this idea for real estate investors who might be self-employed, have poor credit, or other circumstances which make traditional mortgage approval difficult.

The financing period is typically 12-24 months. This type of loan doesn’t have as many restrictions and can close in 10-14 days.
